      <title>Sarfaraz Bugti resigns from Senate</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Former caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti resigned as a member of the Senate on Tuesday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bugti submitted his resignation to Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani who accepted it promptly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sarfaraz Bugti had resigned from the caretaker cabinet to join the Pakistan Peoples Party and contest elections for the Balochistan Assembly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He was elected from PB-10 after receiving 52,485 votes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Although the PPP is yet to announce its candidate for the post of Balochistan CM, Bugti is said to be one of the frontrunners.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Prince Ahmer Umer Ahmedzai, another Senator belonging to the Balochistan Awami Party also tendered his resignation on Tuesday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ahmedzai’s resignation was accepted by Chairman Sanjrani.&lt;/p&gt;
