ECP allocates women’s reserved seats to political parties

The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification distributing special women’s seats in the National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa among different political parties, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to notification, the PML-N and the JUI allocated one seat each

The N-league emerged as the single largest party in the general elections, but none of the parties got majority votes to form a government.

The South Asian country is expected to have a government similar to the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) which ruled the country for 16 months after the ouster of former prime minister Imran Khan via the vote of no-confidence in April 2021.
