      <title>Gold extends gains to settle at Rs215,100/tola in Pakistan</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The price of gold increased by Rs1,000 and was standing at Rs215,100 per tola for selling on February 26, compared with its earlier price of Rs214,100 per tola, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The price of 10 grammes of gold also increased by Rs858 to Rs184,414 as against the previous price of Rs183,556.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Similarly, the prices of 10 grammes of 22 karat gold went up to Rs169,046 from Rs 168,260.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The price of per tola and 10 grammes of silver remained unchanged atRs 2,570 and Rs2,203.36, respectively.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the international market, gold prices were set for a weekly gain on Friday, buoyed by a softer dollar and safe-haven demand from escalating tensions in the Middle East, even as US Federal Reserve officials bruised hopes of early rate cuts this year.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Spot gold was up 0.8% to $2,040.69 per ounce, and was on track for a 1.4% weekly rise, while US gold futures settled 0.9% higher at $2,049.4.&lt;/p&gt;
