The arrest comes hours after he was summoned by the Federal Investigation Agency’s Cybercrime Wing for allegedly inciting hatred against judges of the Supreme Court.

He was asked to appear in FIA Lahore at 11 am tomorrow.

The journalist was abducted by unknown men in May last year and his whereabouts remained unknown until he returned home in September.

The arrest comes after an investigation into a campaign against SC judges on social media.

According to reports, the main suspect has already been arrested.

Journalist Asad Toor has also been issued a notice by the FIA for the same offence.
