He was accompanied by party members in Karachi. The procession began from the Bilawal House in Clifton.

According to the party, the procession would pass through 21 points in the city.

Bilawal is pitching himself for the seat of prime minister seat against his rival Nawaz Sharif who is trying for a fourth term.

The scion of Bhutto dynasty in the recent past has asked senior politicians to retire and give chance to young politicians.

PPP leader Sherry Rehman told reporters that the procession would pass through the seven districts.

“Now this city is under control,” she said and added that Karachi is a mega city and their mayor was serving for the past six months.

She quoted Bilawal as saying that he “finds peace when he lands in Karachi.” According to the former minister, she said that it was important for the party to resolve all issues.
