PML-N ex-MNA Ayesha Rajab joins Tareen’s IPP

Pakistan Muslim League-N’s former MNA Ayesha Rajab Baloch has announced joining the Istahkam e Pakistan Party (IPP).

Baloch met IPP Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Tareen at his residence in Multan and expressed confidence in the leadership of Tareen.

She extended support IPP’s candidate from NA-97 (Faisalabad-III) Humayun Akhtar Khan in the election 2024.

The Election Commission of Pakistan announced in October last year that the IPP would be awarded ‘Eagle’ as the electoral symbol.

The decision came after weeks of deliberation after the party was formally registered by the ECP on October 5.

The IPP was formed by Tareen along with a handful of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf defectors on June 8. Former PTI leader Aleem Khan was appointed the party’s president four days later.
