      <title>NEPRA raises power tariffs</title>

&lt;p&gt;“X1ArDISCOs shall reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of December 2023 in the billing month of February 2024,” NEPRA said in a &lt;a rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" class="link--external" href="https://www.nepra.org.pk/tariff/Tariff/Ex-WAPDA%20DISCOS/2024/TRF-100%20XWDISCOS%20MFPA%20DEC-2023%2002-02-2024%201695-1710.PDF"&gt;statement&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The authority conducted a public hearing on January 31, 2024, and reviewed the request/information provided by CPPA-G seeking monthly FCA and due diligence was done accordingly.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The decision would be applied to all the consumer categories except Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) and lifeline consumers.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The authority calculated a uniform FCA of Rs99702/ kWh for December 2023 as compared to the corresponding reference FCA of Rs5.4031/kWh. Later, Nepra allowed a positive adjustment of Rs4.5671 kWh in FCA for December.&lt;/p&gt;
