In a statement, the ECP said that a total of 90,675 polling stations will be created across the country including 25,320 male and 23,952 female polling stations. Another 41,403 polling stations will be combined.

The polling stations will have a total of 276,398 polling booths including 147,552 male and 128,846 female booths.

The polling stations have also been categorised according to sensitivity. Out of the total 90,675 stations, 27,628 have been declared sensitive while 18,437 have been declared most sensitive.
