The 53-year-old actor recently underwent triceps surgery. This time Khan received a fracture in his knee. However, the actor is not losing hope and has vowed for immediate recovery so he can rejoin the shoot.

According to Indian media, Kareena Kapoor remained at her husband’s side at the hospital.

“This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do,” Khan was quoted as saying.

“I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.”
