The woman, identified as Muqaddas Bibi, reportedly suspected that her husband, Shafaullah, was having an extra-martial affair with his cousin.

According to the police, Muqaddas allegedly tried to get her revenge by abducting the cousins’s child, who was only one-and-a-half years old.

She reportedly enlisted her husband to help her in the crime and managed to abduct the child. The couple then allegedly buried the chilve alive.

After the FIR was filed and the woman was arrested, she pinpointed the grave’s location to the police from where the child’s body was recovered.

Khushab’s DPO had taken notice of the incident and ordered that the culprits be arrested and brought to the law.
