“PTI candidates issued fabricated tickets. I issued PTI-N tickets myself and have pictures of myself with our candidates. I do not know from where they [PTI] got our tickets,” he told media during a press conference t Lahore Press Club Saturday.

According to Dar, he formed his own party after the PTI indulged in corruption and electables politics.

Responding to questions, he said that it was the job of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take action against the alleged forgery by the PTI.

The PTI-N chief denied getting into any agreement with the PTI for issuing his party tickets to the former ruling party’s candidates.

It is pertinent to mention that the PTI allotted tickets to its candidates through the name of PTI-N as it was fighting a legal battle for its symbol in the Supreme Court.

However, the ECP in response directed the returning officers to reject applications of those candidates who were members of a party and sought election symbol of another political party.

Later, PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen filed a petition at the ECP requesting it approve the PTI-N certificates.
