      <title>Germany needs 500,000 foreign nurses by 2030</title>

&lt;p&gt;The German Federal Employment Agency launched the Triple Win Programme in 2013 to facilitate the migration of trained foreign nurses to the country.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The programme is aimed at recruiting qualified nurses from other countries to migrate to Germany and fill the nursing staff shortages.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Licenced nurses will be required to complete technical and language training to practice in Germany.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Those eligible to apply must have graduation from accredited nursing institutions, must be of legal age of 18 and a proof of a German language level of at least B1 at the time of visa application.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;While the visa is valid for a period of one year, it can be turned into a residence permit once nurses successfully complete the B2 exam and the recognition process in Germany.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The visa holders can convert their visa into a permanent resident permit after five years.&lt;/p&gt;
