A spokesperson of SSGC said a gas pipeline with a 12-inch diameter installed near Dhadhar Road in Quetta needs maintenance as it has sustained minor damage. The work requires a break in the gas supply.

He added the team reached the spot and repairing would take a few hours. The gas supply will begin after the completion of work.

The gas supplier requested consumers to avoid comparing supply shutdown with load shedding as the company is attempting to continuously supply to domestic consumers.
