      <title>PSX closes bearish as 100-Index losses 250 points</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Pakistan Stock Exchange closed lower as negative sentiments prevailed in the market on Wednesday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The benchmark KSE-100 Index shed 250.73 points or 0.39% to settle at 63,919.84 levels at the closing of the market.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The KSE-30 Index shed 114.84 points or 0.54% to reach 21,340.87 at the closing of the trading session.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A total of 636,168,115 shares valuing Rs17.98 billion were traded during the day, compared with 448,990,545 shares valuing Rs12.281 billion in the last trading day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As many as 361 companies transacted their shares in the stock market; 155 of them recorded gains and 183 sustained losses, while the share prices of 23 remained unchanged.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The three top-trading companies were K-Electric with 151,248,373 shares at Rs5.72 per share, Hascol Petrol with 67,980,000 shares at Rs8.53 per share and WorldCall Telecom with 42,068,813 shares at Rs1.43 per share.&lt;/p&gt;
