      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The International Cricket Council published its latest rankings for Test batsmen on Wednesday, with star Pakistani batsman Babar Azam dropping two spots.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Azam, who struggled in the recent series against Australia, is now at the the eighth spot in the rankings with 768 points.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson has retained his spot at the top of the list, with Joe Root close behind him at the second spot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No other Pakistani batsman has made it to the Top 10. However, Saud Shakeel is at the 14th spot and Muhammad Rizwan tied for 17th.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the Test bowlers ranking, Shaheen Shah Afridi is the lone Pakistani in the Top 20 and is currently at the 12th spot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The updated rankings have been published after Pakistan’s dismal showing against Australia where they were whitewashed in the three test series.&lt;/p&gt;
