Pakistan’s auto industry continued to suffer in the year 2023, sales of vehicles fell by 55% while production in manufacturing parts also decreased by 70%.

As the sales of vehicles decreased, the national exchequer also faced a significant decrease in revenue.

Chairman All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association HM Shahzad said that if the situation of vehicle manufacturing or assembling in the country remains the same, the situation will be worse in the next two years.

He said that despite the agreements with automobile companies, new high technology could not be brought to the country, the reason why vehicles are still out of buyers’ approach as these are expensive.

However, the current caretaker government has made significant progress in this matter under which they are being reprimanded.
