All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said on Tuesday that the rate of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs258 and now the price stands at 1 lac 88 thousands 272 rupees.

After the price change, one tola of gold in the country has become 2 lac 19 thousand 600 rupees.

Globally, before the U.S. weekend holiday, spot gold was up 0.4% at $2,052.69 per ounce, its highest level since Dec. 4, putting it on course for a 1.7% weekly gain.
