      <title>Bears take control as KSE-100 sheds more than 2,500 points</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bloodbath session on Tuesday as the benchmark KSE-100 Index shed more than 2,500 points on the back of political and economic uncertainty.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The KSE-100 Index shed 2,534.12 points or 4.11% to reach 59,170.97 levels at the closing of the trading session.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The KSE-30 Index shed 836.93 points 4.07% to settle at 19,724.89 at the closing of the market.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;According to market analysts, the investors opted to book profits in the last week, which resulted in the benchmark index closing in the red. They forecasted market may see a correction going forward.&lt;/p&gt;
