The film ‘Mom’ directed by Ravi Udyawa and written by Girish Kohli brought Sajal Aly and Tripti together, it was a story of a girl who was unable to forget her late biological mother, although her stepmother continues her endeavour to win the heart of her.

The story changes its direction when Arya gets assaulted after rejecting a Valentine’s Day proposal, Shri Devi, performed as Devki Sabarwal, stepmother Arya after disappointment from the legal makes a plan with a detective (Nizamuddin Siddiqui) and kills all culprits of Arya by using her skills as biological professor.

Tensions escalate when one of the attackers, Jagan (Abhimanyu Singh), discovers Devki’s identity. In a gripping showdown, Devki faces Jagan to protect Arya, torn between justice and her family’s safety.

The movie was wrapped up with Arya’s heartfelt acknowledgement of Devki as “Mom”.
