      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has expressed satisfaction that the country is heading towards economic stability.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Information Minister said general elections will be held on the 8th of February and there should be no doubt about it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Addressing a news conference along with Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai in Quetta today, he pointed out that the Pakistan Stock Exchange crossed sixty-six thousand points today during trading, while the dollar also depreciated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Quoting the report of Bloomberg, the Minister said Pakistan is on the agenda of IMF board on the eleventh of next month.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country. He said it is our responsibility to extend full facilitation to the Election Commission of Pakistan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Responding to a question, the Information Minister said the state media will be modernized and its capacity will be increased.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He expressed confidence that the state media would come at par with the world’s best broadcasters and its future is not bleak, but bright.&lt;/p&gt;
