TTP terrorist behind multiple attacks against military arrested in Karachi

Law enforcement agencies arrested an alleged TTP terrorist in Karachi’s Old Sazbi Mandi area, counter-terrorism officials said on Friday.

Izatman son of Asfandyar was behind several attacks against military cantonments and a police station, said the officials.

He was responsible for the martyrdom of three soldiers and was also involved in the attack on the house of former federal minister Afzal Lala.

The counter-terrorism authorities have recovered a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from him, said the officials.
