Sandeep Reddy’s Animal featured Ranbir Kapoor Anil Kapoor and Boby Deol broke box office records on Sunday, despite receiving mixed reactions from viewers it is marking an unprecedentedly successful story.

On Sunday, Animal collects Rs72.50 Crore in the domestic market which is 8.5 per cent of the box office’s daily.

As per trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Animal’s worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 360 Crore.

The trailer of the film indicates the childhood life of Ranbir Kapoor, a character who idolises his father, but their affection has never been returned. It’s reasonable to argue that Ranbir’s villain story starts at home.

Geetanjali’s (Rashmika Mandanna) love is nothing for Ranbir before the relationship that Ranbir has with his father.

He will stop at nothing to show his father how much he cares and to gain his approval, even if it means using violence.
