&lt;p&gt;According to the news published on &lt;strong&gt;Daily Jang&lt;/strong&gt;, The spokesman said, the Dhabeji pumping station will be closed on December 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m and that maintenance would result in a 75 MGD water deficit for the city.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Water Corporation has requested the citizens to store water and use it carefully to avoid any problems.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It should be noted that on September 30, due to the breakdown, Karachi city had to face a shortage of 104 MGD of water.&lt;/p&gt;
