“The inauguration of the building marks an onerous significant contribution by the Bohra Jamaat to the field of education,” the interim Sindh CM said while addressing the ceremony.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, and former provincial chief minister Murad Ali Shah were also present on the occasion.

Dr Saifuddin arrived in Karachi on November 20 at the invitation of the government and the community members. He landed in the provincial capital of Sindh from Sri Lanka.

Last week, President Arif Alvi gave approval to the conferment of Pakistan’s highest civil award ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ on Dr Saifuddin.

“The social service provided by the Dawoodi Bohra community extends borders and nationalities dedicated solely to human development,” Baqar said, “this inauguration coinciding with Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s visit to Karachi stands as a valuable gift for the students of Karachi and the entire nation of Pakistan.”

The caretaker Sindh CM added that the building stood tall as a catalyst for intellectual growth, societal growth, and continued harmonious co-existence of tradition and contemporary values in the landscape of Pakistan education.

He stated that the building showed the broader vision of the community in global human development. He thanked the board of the community for their commitment to the educational development in Sindh.

“Your dedication to fostering intellectual growth and advancing educational opportunities is a commendable contribution that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the future generations of our nation.”

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab also shared an update related to the event on X, erstwhile Twitter,

“Honoured to have met HH Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin at the inauguration of the new building of the School of Law at Karachi University,” he said.
