The Islamabad High Court (IHC) fixed November 28 for hearing a petition seeking registration of a case against General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa and General (retd) Faiz Hameed.

Islamabad High Court Registrar’s Office has issued a cause list, according to which the citizen has filed a petition for the registration of cases against General Retired Bajwa and General Retired Faiz Hameed, and others.

Earlier, a petition was filed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking registration of a criminal case against former army chief retired Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, ex-director general Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Faiz Hameed and two journalists for making certain revelations in an interview of the ex-army chief.

The registrar’s office of the IHC, however, raised objections to the petition and asked the petitioner to first approach the appropriate forum.

However, in the recent development the court has fixed November 28 for the hearing.
