      <title>Pakistan Railways to shift on ‘solar power’ soon</title>

&lt;p&gt;&lt;a rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" class="link--external" href="https://x.com/PakrailPK/status/1728294404652462447?s=20"&gt;Pakistan Railways&lt;/a&gt; has announced on its X platform that it is moving towards solar penal with the help of the private sector and proposals in that matter will be called soon.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Recently, Pakistan Railways also launched two applications for the easiness of passengers and train drivers, the ‘Digital Railway Driving System’ and ‘RABTA’ apps, showing its commitment to adapting the latest technology.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;In the previous year, then prime minister Shahbaz Sharif had instructed to plan a comprehensive strategy to develop Pakistan Railways on modern lines, under which solar panels of international standards.&lt;/p&gt;
