      <title>Rupee weakens against dollar in interbank</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Pakistani rupee recorded minor loss against the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The greenback gained 10 paisas and was trading at Rs285.37 at the closing of the market, as against the closing of Rs285.27 the previous day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the open market, the buying of the dollar was recorded at Rs284.87 while it was quoted at Rs285.37 for selling at the time of filing the story.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The minor setback in the value of the rupee came after the foreign exchange reserves of the central bank dropped by $217 million.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The State Bank of Pakistan reported that for the week ending November 17, external payments caused the SBP’s foreign exchange reserves to drop by $217 million to $7.18 billion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The country’s commercial banks had $5.12 billion as of November 17.&lt;/p&gt;
