Chaudhry made the claim in a video blog and said that that the interview has either already been recorded or will be recorded soon.

Riaz is the owner of Bahria Town, perhaps the largest real estate venture in the country with roots across the country from Rawalpindi to Karachi.

The journalist further said that the interview will feature a discussion around three key points. The first will be his involvement in the case of the Rs460 billion fine imposed on him by the Supreme Court.

The discussion will allegedly involve a discussion on how former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar was involved in the matter and what he got in return.

The second point will be built around Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s 2014 sit-in. Riaz could make potentially explosive claims about how the protest was planned, funded and handled.

Chaudhry claimed that Riaz will also reveal about how he sent a message to Nawaz Sharif to resign or go on leave abroad during the sit-in.

The third point in the interview will explain the behind the scenes working of the PTI government. He could add details of how he set up meetings between Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif but prevented them for working together to bring down the PTI government.

While Chaudhry did not have exact details of when or where the interview would be broadcast, he said that it would probably come soon.
