      <title>Unidentified men demolish school in KP’s Bajaur: official</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Unidentified men demolished a government primary school in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district on Saturday night, Assistant Education Officer Haji Nazeer Mulakhail said.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“Unidentified men took advantage of the darkness to demolish the school at night,” he said and claimed that the miscreants also stole the construction material like T Iron and TR Garder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The school is located in the Loe Mamund Tehsil of the district.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mulakhail stated that the school was established through the funds of the Parents Teachers Council of the Education Department. As many as 400 students were enrolled in the school.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier this year, a government primary school for girls in the Jani Shah Badan area of Mamund Teshil was closed for a month after its lone teacher appointed on temporary basis quit the job owing to nonpayment of salary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Media reported that it was the lone school for girls in the area. More than 300 students were enrolled in the school established some five years ago.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;More than 152,000 students are learning in 653 government institutions having more than 2,240 teachers, according to the KP government website.&lt;/p&gt;
