After eleven hours, rescue efforts near the Qutubpur railway station in Jahanian were concluded.

Assistant Station Master Qutubpur reports that the up and down track is clear.

He said that the Green Line and the Karakoram Express have been routed to Multan as a result of the downtrack’s closure.

It is pertinent to mention that the down track was closed last night as a result of The Pak Business Express’s engine and bogie derailing meanwhile the train was going from Lahore to Karachi.
