Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case filed against Sheikh Rasheed regarding the May 9 incidents.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed appeared in the court along with his lawyers, the stance was adopted by his lawyer that his name should have been entered in the supplementary as the house of Sheikh Rasheed was raided and his vehicles were also taken.

On this, the court remarked that five thousand rupees should be deposited in cash. Sheikh Rasheed said that whatever money they deposit in cash is also taken away. However, banks are closed today.

The judge remarked that Shaikhan Wali Gul Kurdi, which caused laughter in the courtroom, later the court extended the former interior minister’s interim bail till November 25.
