Internet sensation Reynold Poernomo is hoping that he would be the next desert master in Australia as he competes for the Deser Masters of MasterChef Australia.

“I didn’t win MasterChef twice… Third time’s a charm, I hope…,” he said. The show would start on November 12.

Reynold made his debut onto Masterchef Australia in 2015 and was crowned as the nation’s ‘Dessert King’ as he placed as a finalist in the cooking competition. He was not able to win the title but won many hearts and became an internet sensation. His style of cooking garnered him many fans.

He would be among the 10 top gun pastry chefs in the country. Melissa Leong and Amaury Guichon are the Dessert Masters judges.

“I’ve been so focused on doing a lot of dining and been a bit out of touch with desserts for quite some time. So this will be a thrill getting back to the sweeter end of the kitchen,” Reynold said in a Facebook post.
