Three foetuses in jars were found on Tuesday in a North Nazimabad Block J garbage dump within the remit of the Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police station.

Chhipa Welfare Association got the information after a citizen called on the rescue organisation’s helpline number, spokesperson Shahid said and added that the jars were kept in a shopper.

The jars have been moved to the Abbassi Shaheed Hospital after the investigation at the police station. According to Shahid, the foetuses would be shifted to the Chippa morgue after a police letter.

According to the police, they were taking CCTV footage of the area to investigate the matter. Initial reports said that the incident appeared to be a miscarriage.
