No signs of slow poisoning, says Dr Sultan after meeting Imran Khan

Former special assistant to the prime minister on health Dr Faisal Sultan has said that he did not see any signs of slow poisoning in PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

“I did not see any such thing clearly after briefly examining him rather than I saw him fit, healthy, happy. The way he is,” he said in response to a query after meeting the former prime minister in Adiala Jail.

Earlier, reports claimed that Khan was being given “poison”. The PTI chief is in jail in connection with the cipher case. Such reports were refuted by Khan’s lawyer Shiraz Ahmad Ranjha on Wednesday.

When asked, Sultan said that the former prime minister might have expressed some apprehensions and it was misunderstood. “But today, I did not see any such thing.”

He added that the PTI chief had no complaints related to food, citing that Khan follows a diet.
