According to reports the accident happened to the family of Major Arsalan, who is appointed in the Pakistani embassy in Qatar.

The family had reportedly travelled from Qatar to Saudi Arabia for Umra and their vehicle collided with a trailer on the way back.

The reports added that Arsalan’s mother, wife, son and daughter passed away on the spot.

Meanwhile, Major Arsalan himself was severly injured in the accident. He was shifted to the hospital and is now in intensive care.

The Pakistani authorities in Qatar have requested Saudi authorities to hand over the bodies as soon as possible so they can be shifted to Pakistani.
