Amid climate change when the world is dealing with rising temperature Pakistan’s biggest city Karachi has a street that contains environment-friendly carbon-free features which makes it cooler than other areas and its architectural techniques soars its beauty.

Denso Hall is a historical place in Karachi that remains busy with the movement of hundreds of buyers and sellers and then there is a street that provides a relief to the entire area.

A Street identified as ‘Denso Hall Rah Guzro Piyada Gali’ is full of greenery, from the entrance to the exit the thoroughfare has lots of plants that keep the hot temperature to a lower side while enhancing the natural beauty of the area.

Apart from being a climate-friendly spot, it not only ad up beautification but also provides calmness to restless minds that get restless with city hustle and bustle.

The street has bamboo esplanades where the people can rest.

It was created under a different architectural plan where non-cement tiles on the floor were installed with portraits of historical buildings.

However, vehicles including bikes and rickshaws were not allowed to enter here as the smoke of such automobiles can destroy the carbohydrate street.

Visitors term the street as a good initiative to counter climate change and high rising temperatures.

According to the construction specialist Mehnaz Jameel, mercury remains down here than on other streets.

Environmental expert Yasir Hussain believes that the vehicles operated with petrol and diesel are the biggest reason behind jumping temperature which is not environment friendly and we should move towards chargeable electric transport.

He urges the government to take measures to save the country from climate change.
