The passenger van was traveling to Sukkur from Khairpur when it collided with the car near Babarloi Bypass in Khairpur.

Soon after the collision, the local people and the police arrived at the scene and moved the bodies and the injured to Civil Hospital Khairpur and Sukkur.

The injured were being given medical aid in the hospital, while the police said that the bodies have been identified as of now.

Interim Sindh Chief Minister Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqar took notice of the incident and expressed his grief over the loss of precious human lives.

He also directed the authorities to cooperate with the families of the killed and injured passengers.
