According to police the incident happened at a 720 sq feet plot where a house was being constructed.

Rescue workers rushed to the scene as soon as the building collapse was reported and began an oepration to recover the other construction workers buried beneath the rubble.

The rescue team managed to find one dead body from the rubble, while four men were transferred to the hospital in an injured state. Of the injured, two people succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

Police said that multiple people are buried under the wreckage of the house, although the number is not yet known for certain.
