As per an Israeli police report, Hamas had been utilizing accounts to raise money on social media since Saturday.

The cyber branch is working with the Defense Ministry, Shin Bet, and other intelligence agencies in an effort to shut down cryptocurrency channels that Hamas is using.

Israel and the cryptocurrency exchange Binance worked together to find and terminate the accounts.

The branch also collaborated with the UK authorities to halt access to a Barclays bank account.
