Ozcivit who was best known for his leading character in the Turkish historical series ‘Kurulus Osman’, a sequel season of Drislis Ertugrul, while wrapping up his two-day visit to Pakistan said in response to journalists’ question he would work in Pakistan, he started his first project with Pakistani brand.

Ozcivit had announced his tour to Pakistan in July.

Speaking through a translator Ozcivit said, “Pakistan and Turkiye have similar cultures, and I myself wanted to come to Pakistan, I wish to visit the entire country but I will rejoin the shoot which I had left to come to Pakistan.”

He said that he would love to work in Pakistani films or a Turkiye-Pakistan co-production. “I would love to work here; I really would, but right now I am very busy with Kurulus: Osman.We are in our fifth season right now, and I am not sure how many more seasons we will be running for,” he shrugged.

He said he also intended to promote tourism in Pakistan.

Pakistani fans welcomed Burak Ozcivit on Saturday who became a most favourite actor in Pakistan after his role in the historical series “Kurulus Osman” based on the life of the founder of the Ottoman Empire Osman Ghazi.

The fifth season of the series premiered on October 4.
