The man had rented out his house in Surjani Town where he heard the children screaming. He immediately called the police who arrived within minutes.

The police had to break the door down to enter the house where they found the man trying to fore feed poison to his daughters. He had allegedly poured rat poison in a bowl and was trying to make the children drink it.

Police later said that the culprit is allegedly a drug addict and his wife has already left him due to the same reason.
