&lt;p&gt;After being put to bat first, Afghan batters failed to score big as wickets were falling in intervals owing to tight bowling from Bangladesh bowlers.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Opening batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz remained the top-getter for Afghanistan. He scored 47 runs off 62 balls, while Ibrahim Zadran and Azmatullah Omarzai managed to hit innings of 22 runs each.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took three scalps each and Shoriful Islam sent two Afghan batters back to the pavilion.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first against Afghanistan at Dharamsala, India in the ODI World Cup 2023.&lt;/p&gt;
