The incident happened in a local court in Tandlianwala in Faisalabad, where an unknown woman opened fire, injuring Advocate Malik Siddique Awan and his clerk Rab Nawaz who were shifted to the hospital.

Responding to the incident, the security guard opened fire which killed the assailant.

The wounded were shifted to the hospital in critical condition while the police cordoned the spot.

A heavy contingent of police arrived on the scene and arrested a companion of the woman. They began collecting the evidence from the spot, however, the reason behind the incident and the identity of the woman are still not clear.
