Anju, the Indian woman who came to Pakistan to start a new life journey after getting married to her Nasarullah from Dir, has reached the Kalash Valley on a vacation.

Anju, who has been renamed Fatima after conversion to Islam, reached Kalash Valley and adapted to their culture immediately.

In a video Fatima posted from Kalash, she was seen in a black Kalash cultural dress embroidered with orange thread, and a tangerine colour cap covering her head according to the Kalashi style.

Fatima and Nasarullah met on a social media platform in 2019. Nasarullah’s friendship pulled her across the border where she converted to his religion and tied the knot with a 29-year-old.

Her move had drawn the ire of her family and they asked her to never return. She had two children before moving to Pakistan, a 12-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.
