&lt;p&gt;The pilot project launched in the Zarmalan district of South Waziristan will see 1,000 acres of barren land made suitable for cultivation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Pak Army plans to make another 44,000 acres of land cultivable through this project which will help improve the economy of farmers and control malnutrition in the area.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The people of the area thanked the Pakistan Army for the completion of the pilot project saying that it would promote farming, while also creating new employment opportunities.&lt;/p&gt;
