      <title>Met dept forecasts thunderstorm in Islamabad, KP</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted thunderstorm in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today (Friday).&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“Rain-wind/thunderstorm (with hailstorm at isolated places) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Potohar region, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, and south Punjab” the Met department said.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snowfall is also likely over high mountains in upper KP, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the period, it added.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, dry weather is likely to be recorded in other areas of the country, while the weather is expected to be hot in southern parts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;On September 27, the Pakistan Met department had forecasted thundershowers in parts of the country from September 28 September 30 as the monsoon season withdraws from the country.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;“Rain-wind/thunderstorm with hailstorm (at isolated places) is expected in Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Haripur, Kurram, Waziristan, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Murree, Galliyat,” the Met department said.&lt;/p&gt;
