&lt;p&gt;COAS Munir, while addressing ‘KPK Women Symposium – 2023’ in Peshawar, urged women to actively participate in advancing KP’s development, including the newly merged tribal districts, Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During his visit, he held dialogue with the women of the province and underscored the historical significance of women’s contributions to Pakistan’s progress.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The COAS also participated in a meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee, where he was accompanied by caretaker Chief Minister of KP Muhammad Azam Khan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the region’s security situation, with a focus on initiatives against smuggling, hoarding, and drug trafficking.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;During the meeting, attendees reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;COAS Munir reiterated the importance of collaborative efforts for the peace and prosperity of the country, pledging the Pakistan Army’s continued role in ensuring stability in KP.&lt;/p&gt;
