Reports said that Shehbaz will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday and hold a key meeting with the party’s legal team.

Meanwhile, Nawaz’s daughter, Maryam, has been given the task of making preparations to welcome the PMLN chief when he returns on October 21.

Shehbaz has already barred party leaders from leaving the country and told them to focus on helping prepare Nawaz’ s welcome.

Nawaz is scheduled to return to Pakistan next month after almost four years in exile. He mostly spent the time in London and did not return to Pakistan even when his brother was prime minister in the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government.
