Additional Session Judge Mian Shahid Javed gave the verdict on the case filed against, the father, Rafique in 2019 at the Sattoo Katla police station in the capital city of Punjab.

In his written judgment, Judge Javed said that a father is considered a guardian to his children. A daughter complained to her father if someone bothered her.

In this case, the father has destroyed the soul and personality of his daughter while the victim also suffered from mental trauma, he added.

During the trial, the prosecution produced 11 witnesses in support of its case. The court handed the death sentence to the father, stating that the prosecution had proved its case.
