The girl, named Wajiha, was employed as a maid in a hose in Karachi’s Defense Phase 2. She had gone ‘missing’ two days ago when she was on her way to work.

The girl’s mother had called 15 and the police registered a complaint and began investigating.

Using a CCTV vido and other technical means, the police were able to track down the gir and recover her after two days. Police also arrested a man named Shayan for allegedly being behind the kidnapping.

The girl has now been handed over to her parents while police continues to investigate the man.
